We know RJ Publisher likes to brag about the new media helping fill his in-box, but maybe he should stick to some old school Texas Instruments.

In today's rant, er, Complete Las Vegan blog post, Sherm Frederick not only can't combat his inability to spell, he once again forgets for whom he works.

After thrilling over the 500 e-mails he received after Drudge Report linked to his recent bash of President Obama, Sherm decided to make it clear he questions the competence of Obama's political appointees and policy views.

So, with such competence, he misspells Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano's name, not once, but twice.

We know this is a tough name for a newspaper publisher to get right, especially since she's hardly ever in the news. And we realize someone who had a home in Arizona when she was governor might have trouble with the name that led the type of political news he was supposed to be reading.

This is Sherm after all.

In the same blog post he worries that Obama doesn't know what an enemy "compatant" is. Neither do we.

It seems Frederick confuses competence and combat as easily as he does his vowels and consonants.

It's clear he needs an editor. But, please, don't let it be the one that "broke" the news of the federal officer's shooting this morning by placing the crime at the "FBI building at 300 Las Vegas Boulevard, South..."

Last we checked, that was the big old federal courthouse building downtown.

The FBI office is on Lake Mead Boulevard.
