Sherm hangin' with the right crowd

3 right wingersA newspaper publisher often has to do the grip-and-grin. But it's clear exactly who Sherm Frederick is hangin' with these days. First Friday apparently was too progressive and arty for Sherm, so he hung last week with Jim Gibbons and right-wing radio -- essentially being dubbed the King of the Tea Baggers.

Don't take our word for it, Chuck Muth's "unfair, unbalanced and always right" Nevada News & Views wrote up a glowing tribute to Sherm as guest of honor for last Friday's right wing extravaganza at Stoney's Rockin' Country Bar.

Sherm blogged recently about how comfortable Jim Gibbons seems working the cocktail scene these days. So, it must have been just as easy for Sherm to pose with Gibbons and KXNT-AM radio host Alan Stock. It's nice the rightwingers who actually still support Gibbons can get the RJ Publisher to throw down a few anti-Harry Reid barbs with them. After all, everyone needs a place to go to be with kindred spirits.

Muth organized the event and his political operative reported about the scene. http://nevadanewsandviews.com/2009/11/09/guv-rj-publisher-rock-november%E2%80%99s-first-friday-brew-ha-ha/

No telling if anyone heiled Hitler during this little Stoney's bruhaha. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GVS4Zgjm8HE But the last laugh's on the readers of the Review-Journal anyway. It's no wonder the paper runs section front, top of the fold fluff pieces http://www.lvrj.com/news/gibbons-looks-past-polls-69547747.html about how Gibbons is an anti-tax guy.

It can't hurt when the publisher's throwin' down with the right crowd.
